Any idea of the date of this scarf?

I bought this thinking it could be mid-century based on the colour scheme and design, but literally can't find one single similar example online to compare it to. The only label is "Made in England" which also makes me think it might be older, as not much is made in England anymore these days? The label is a bit yellowed. Not sure of the fibre content, but it is at least partially animal.

Any ideas welcome.

For the potential future benefit of anyone viewing this thread, although I didn't find a similar scarf, I was able to find a few items that had very similar patterns and colours dated to the 60s.

I missed this first time round. Yes agree Made in England is likely to be older, not only because not much is made here any more, but also because if it was made here more recently, labels are more likely to say Made in UK, or Made in Britain.

My utterly subjective and unreliable observation is that Made In England starts to fade out on labels from the 1970s. It never disappeared completely though, so as ever, it can't be taken as definitive.

I agree that 1960s seems likely from both the label and the pattern.

Stylistically, it looks very like a sweater/jumper I purchased in the 1990s which had the same big blue roses... which was not Made in England.
As Ruth says, this is my utterly subjective and unreliable observation!

Didn't the 90s do a bit of a 60s revival? Looking back I kind of remember that from my clothing catalogues, though I was more into flannel shirts and baggy jeans, LOL.
