Any ideas on Cynthia Baxter (for Nipon)??

I've searched everywhere and can't find anything on this label :(

This dress looks 80s to me, was made in Italy, is 100% silk and carries a label with what I think reads Cynthia Baxter (written in script, see photos below). There's also a name within the abstract print that you'll see in my photos, and the hem backing states Albert Nipon.

if you didn't find anything with cynthia baxter, could it be bardes? the script is tough to read.

never heard of either name. odd that it's got the albert nipon hem tape. i've had one that had that, but it was a nipon. yes, it's 80s.

It is Cynthia Bardes and if you do a Google search for:

"Cynthia Bardes"

(in quotes), then click on the small word "News" on the top left of your Google screen, then scroll down to "Archives," on the left side of the next screen, and click on that, your first hit should be a 1985 article about her, titled "The Little Silk Dress is Seasonless."
