any ideas on this dior belt?

First, I am not sure if it is real. I have not seen this "ceintures" label, and it says made in China. I am thinking no earlier than 80's... am I off? It is heavy though, and even the ends of the ties are beaded.

Fake or not, that is a gorgeous belt! Hmmm . . . don't know what to tell you about the label though. That's the thing I hate about repros - it's gonna be heck on future vintage sellers to differentiate the real from the rubbish *sigh*

I immediately thought 80s as well. I would normally think this sort of thing might come from India, but apparently not. I have a RTW label that is now in the label resources from the 80s where the font is identical to your label.

I don't know anything about items from China though.

I don't have any info on the label, but it looks SO 80's. I'm not a big
80s fan, but I do like this - with the right dress it would look dynamite.

what about with those sweeping bohemian like skirts for the gal that doesn't want to give up her sparkles? that could look very cool
