Any information about this hat would be greatly appreciated

I am really new to hats and I was hoping someone help me get a date range for this hat and any other information. There are a couple of labels and marks one is a label, "Eva Mae Modes" another is a sort of stamp inside, "100% Wool, Glenover, Henry Pollak Co, New York". Not sure if the netting is a chin tie or ???

Looks 1950s to me, and I would have guessed that the net is an optional accessory to make it more dressy, not quite sure how it attached though, maybe one loop slips through the other? The nets usually covered some of the hat and over the forehead, sometimes down to the nose or chin, less like a chin tie, more like a veil.
