Any Vintage Hanky Folks Out There?

I love these two hankies and I suspect a vintage equestrian fan might like them too. No tags. Any idea of the era? You can actually see where they have tiny hand stitches around the edge. For some reason they are saying 40s to me, but perhaps that's wishful thinking. Also ... any ideas for words to put in subject line that folks might search (for)? Would this style have a name?
