am researching a little jacket I've got here, and have found 3 Harwyn labels. One that appears to be 40s, which is red on white with the word "Original" and a spool of thread -- here's an example on an Etsy (broken) listing:

Then one that appears to be 50s/60s and maybe early 70s, which is on my jacket (see below).
And then I saw one on a shirt that is absolutely 70s, with enormous lapels and western styling, and completely different look to the label, but may actually be a different company (Harwyn shirts).
I can't find anything about the dress/jacket/ladieswear Harwyn, only about the shirts/shoes Harwyn. Both of New York.
Anybody? Isn't the jacket cute? It's like "poor man's Chanel" styling, very nicely made, but of a poly knit. even has elbow darts. I like the grosgrain trim. Too big on me (44+ bust), or I'd keep it.
