Anybody know where this picture of Mary Quant is from?

Its on several blogs and sites, but I can't find the owner - and I have gone through a few picture archives with no luck.... anybody know? I am also frustrated by not having an exact date for it. It usually appears with a c. 1966 date, but surely its more clearly identified than that?

There are two very similar but different shots actually, one credited to the Express with Mary? looking towards the girls

18th March 1968: English fashion designer Mary Quant with a group of models at Heathrow Airport, before leaving for a continental fashion tour. (Photo by Express/Express/Getty Images)

And this one credited to George Stroud / the express with Mary? looking ahead: http://www.gettyimages.co.uk/detail/news-photo/mary-quant-with-her-models-at-heathrow-airport-london-news-photo/3400507

I did a google 'search by picture' where you can enter the url or upload a copy and found a blog who credited a list of pictures , including the one above, to : Corbis, and Getty: Decades of Fashion).

THANK-YOU SO MUCH! I didn't use the right way to search. I went to Getty and looked up 1960s fashion images and waded through hundreds of pages of crap - I wasted probably two hours doing that! lol

At any rate, I always suspected that picture was later than 1966 - there is a bit of a myth about Mary Quant and the miniskirt I am exposing in my book! lol

You're welcome Jonathan. I love detective work! I should really get a job in research in the future. I have to admit, that image search didn't take me straight to it, it was a few pages of exact copies of that image before I found the blog with a credit, and then a search of 'Mary Quant' on Getty came up with 4 pages in chronological order - apparently they do tag the images with keywords! There are some quite groovy photos of Mary Quant products I've never seen before on there too.

I do like the image search function for cutting out the rubbish Google can spew at you, and it is getting better over time. I often forget to use this method though!
