Anyone else see Leatherheads?

We went for a date night this weekend and saw Leatherheads. I have to say, I really liked it!
The costuming was believable, with some gem (likely repro's, but oh well) "flapper" dresses on some speakeasy gals.
Renee Zellwegger wore some very nice hats and believeable working gal's clothing.
I'm not too good with menswear, but I didn't notice any glaring errors. Some nice newsboy caps, suits and such.

And then there's "The Clooney" :fainting:
Can that man get any better? He does the old timey, facial expressive gag humor so well, and he is most certainly easy on the eyes!
The guy from "The Office" was good, too. He played the cocky young guy nicely to Clooney's seasoned veteran.

I just really liked this one. Of course, O Brother Where Art Thou is one of my all time faves, so I guess that's a style of filmmaking I like.

Or having Clooney on the screen?

Only saw the previews. Looked fun.
Will probably see it on DVD
Read it didn't do the :money: at the box office.

We're pretty picky about what we see at the theater, but we don't do much "out" stuff, so that's one of our things. We usually hit the twilight shows, right before the rates hike for evening shows. Around here we can do two adult admssions, a large (refillable!) corn and two port-a-potty sized sodas for $26. Not a DVD bargain, but not too bad, since we squeek the budget elsewhere.
