We went for a date night this weekend and saw Leatherheads. I have to say, I really liked it!
The costuming was believable, with some gem (likely repro's, but oh well) "flapper" dresses on some speakeasy gals.
Renee Zellwegger wore some very nice hats and believeable working gal's clothing.
I'm not too good with menswear, but I didn't notice any glaring errors. Some nice newsboy caps, suits and such.
And then there's "The Clooney" :fainting:
Can that man get any better? He does the old timey, facial expressive gag humor so well, and he is most certainly easy on the eyes!
The guy from "The Office" was good, too. He played the cocky young guy nicely to Clooney's seasoned veteran.
I just really liked this one. Of course, O Brother Where Art Thou is one of my all time faves, so I guess that's a style of filmmaking I like.
