Anyone Gonna Watch the Emmy's?

I checked out the "worst dressed list" online already.. Some of those dresses are pretty fab!.. I tend to like those the best, when a gal goes out on a limb to be creative.. KUDOS:headbang:
 
Hi Justine - I watched it! It was shown on E! here starting at 1am. I watched right through from Countdown to the Red Carpet at 9pm! I love the Emmys, perhaps moreso than the Oscars because I am such at TV fan.

Me too, Emma! I'm so excited about Fall TV shows coming. Ones like Pushing Daisies and Journeyman and Chuck and Dirty Sexy Money and so many more I am looking forward to watching!

I'm glad Katherine Heigl won too cause I thought she was so good this season and even last year with her whole Denny dying breakdown was great.
 
Oh yeah I agree about Katherine Heigl, I thought she was going to lose out to Sandra Oh who always puts in a good performance, but I don't think she deserved it this year. I was glad to see Terry O'Quinn win too (I'm a Lost fan so a bit bias) although I was surprised at the nominated as I didn't think that this was Locke's best year. It is a pity they only send in one episode too because they sent in the totally wrong ones for Matthew Fox and Josh Holloway, I would have picked 'Through the Looking Glass' and 'The Brig' respectively. Oh and I would have liked to have seen Denis Leary win for Rescue Me. A lot of the new fall shows sound promising too (who knows how many will last though), I have seen a bit of Californication and it is fantastic. I was a bit dubious about David Duchcovny (even though, or perhaps because I was such an X-Files fan), but a couple of minutes you have totally forgotten about Mulder. I have heard that Big Bang Theory is painful though.

As for the clothes, I loved Christina Aguilera's dresses both on the red carpet and on stage, from certain angles you would hardly have guessed that she was pregnant! I liked Hayden Panettiere's dress too, even though she has made the worst dressed lists all over the place. I thought it was cute and something only someone so young could get away with. I also don't agree with those who put Jamie Pressly on the worst dressed list, I really didn't see anythhing wrong with that dress. That said, what was Elizabeth Perkins (I think) wearing!

Wow - I *totally* agree with you on Sandra Oh always being a fantastic part of the cast but yeah, it was just Katherine Heigl's year. She got the choice Denny storyline which required a lot of emotion and she pulled it off amazingly. And plus I think she was funny as Hell in Knocked Up.

I'm a Lost fan, too and Terry O'Quinn is a great part of that show. I also agree with you that it wasn't his year either, but last year he was amazing and the show is awesome so I'm happy. I liked him since he did those slasher horror movies The Stepfather. I totally still see him in that role, he scares me a bit!

I don't have the luxury of HBO or SHO this year which is bumming me, but I moved to the city so some things gotta get cut. I'm gonna be hurting when Dexter starts again.

I wasn't fond of Hayden's dress I have to admit. But I wouldn't have put it on the worst dressed list either. I *loved* Jamie Pressley's dress - it was St. John! It's something I would totally wear. Where I don't know, but I would wear it!
