Thank you! I tried too but didn't find as much as you did.

All the dresses listed are comparable in quality and style to the 2 I have.

They present much better on the manikin than just hangin on a hanger.

Richard Frontman

Richard Frontman is my father. He was a dress designer and manufacturer from approximately the late 50's to the early 70's. In approx. 1973 he joined Frost Bros. in Texas as VP and became President/CEO. He moved to Wolf Bros. in the 80's. He's now retired and I'm always looking for his dresses on vintage websites for purchase. Please feel free to contact me with any nice dresses and/or with any questions you may have.

Hello sfrontman!

Do you have any photos of your father's dresses? I'd love to see them. Also, how should we contact you if we come across any dresses in the future?

You just never know whos watching the VFG!!!

ps; Jluthye, you are always so grateful for input & are so giving of your time & energy, I just wanted to let you know your efforts are appreciated!!!

We'd love to do a page on your father for the VFG Label Resource. I'll take Rita's label, and if you have any others we would love to have those as well.

If you would be interested in helping write the biography, hit the little U2U button at the bottom of my post so I can get your email address.

Thanks!

Lizzie

Hi,
I didn't know about this website before. I found this website on google. From time to time I search for my father's dresses. I don't buy all of them, but I try to keep collecting them. I have only a few. The designs are mostly what you would call "knock offs". The Jackie O styles were very popular, and I remember some fun fashions in the early 70's. He had a factory in Philadelphia and didn't jump on the outsourcing bandwagon at the right time. I get the notifications of postings by email. Please feel free to notify me of any dresses you are selling. I may not purchase all of them ... but I will try to get as many as I can. Sally

Hi Melissa,
I wish I had seen this last year. I have been working very hard this year and just started looking for dresses lately. My father is celebrating his 85th birthday this year. I would love to get some more dresses if you have any or know of any. My email address is [email protected] if you would like to send me an email instead since I have a lot of trouble logging into this website from my office computer and I'm not sure why.

I hope I’m not too late on this. I’ve been collecting for year but just for myself. If anyone has INFO on this particular dress that would be amazing!

I might resale because it is way too small. Sizing is just not the same.

Brittnie, Welcome to the VFG forums!

so, is this a Richard Frontman dress? if so, please add any labels to help us help you with it. If it's NOT a Richard Frontman dress, please start a new thread in this subforum.

nice to see you here!
