Anybody familiar with Old School Nike ?

These have a patent date on the sole that corresponds to 1974 I think, early Nike Waffle "Trainers"?

They have a rather interesting "Color changing" Swoosh, I know they are early Nike but would like to know more details, any value ?

The waffle soles are hard as a rock from age, but still interesting and I believe very early example of Nike brand, made in "Republic of Korea".

Any info on style, color, or color changing Swoosh would be appreciated !

Hi, and welcome to the forums - I don't know about Nikes, because sneakers aren't my bag - but according to the Label Resource, it looks like '70s Nikes were made in the USA, and there's an '80s pair made in Korea. Also: that colour change thing was big in the early '90s, reminds me of Hypercolour. So I suspect they may be '80s or early '90s. The shape looks more '80s than '70s too.

The waffle sole of 1974 really looks like a waffle, those aren't it. And, as Nicole pointed out that type of plastic that shimmered in different colours was a hit in the very late 80s/early 90s. They used that material a lot for the futuristic clothes in Back to the Future Part II, which was made in 1989.
