I have no idea as to the age of this, does anyone? It has no markings..... and frankly, it kinda freaks me out 'cause I am terrified of the dentist!!

I would be scared too if i was afraid of dentists.

I don't know much abotu charm bracelet, but Melanie had a Sherlock Holmes themed one that did very well. I think any novelty theme might just do well. Who knows, you might sell it to a dentist or a dental hygenist!
 
Charms were very popular in the mid to late 70's and whindled out in the early 80's. I hope that helps.
 
Well, I had a yellow gold and still have my white gold one from the 60s.

I think this will do very well!!!!!!
 
charm bracelets became popular in the 60's, I have a gold and a silver one aquired during the 70's. Amusingly I have a special manhood charm for my gold one made by a friend who was a dental technician. During the seventies gate bracelets were introduced and these eclipsed charm bracelets which are now making a come back. Yours is a charming example and although I used to be terrified of dentists thanks to the patience of my dentist for nearly 30 years it has subsided to a fear that a valium controls lol. This one should do rather well and maybe a dentist made the charms as many dentists are good with metalwork.

think louise may have a point: i have no idea about this but spent a long few years working in a dental surgery and i bet it will do well if you get the right couple of buyers! it is quite cool in a rather freaky way..can't believe there are even impression trays for dentures! lol!

I am keeping all of my old charm bracelets. I had thought of parting with them but they hold so many memories, I just can't part with them.

I have a bowling charm bracelet up on ebay at the moment....not sure if it will sell or not, but it was worth a try.....

Someone sold a couple of charm bracelets for good money within the last month or two, as I recall. Can't remember who it was. Hope they come on soon......

well. I have several vintage charm bracelets and won't part with them, but.... this one is freaky... to me anyway. I am going to list it, as I am sure not everyone has the fear I do!!!
I bought it simply because I just found it so bizarre!

I just recently had a TON of dental work done.... maybe that's why I want it to go away!
 
My Mom's charm bracelet is from the late fifties. And from I see from charms from that era that some of the charsm were custom made. My dad had some charms made for my mom's bracelet and the charms were less generic than later ones.
