Anyone know Miss Sun Valley? & Lace question

I have a 50s black taffeta circle skirt with full lace overlay - Miss Sun Valley by Morris Watkin. Does anyone have any info on this co and/or person? It's beautifully made.

Is this machine lace? I've taken pic of lace with a penny.

I have this same skirt in a coffee coloring which I actually used to wear when I was a size 12.

I had a pair of gold lame pants last year by this company.

I think I found some info about him at that time, I believe it is actually a Toronto firm. The only reference I can find right now is a $200.00 scholarship to Seneca College, School of Fashion and Merchandising.

I would say the lace is a filet type of lace, I believe it is machine made.

I wonder what box mine is hiding in?

It's a very pretty skirt, I used to love wearing it!

Ah, thanks for looking MJ - I had actually found that bit too and forgot to mention. This one is a size 12 too - more like today's 0 - they're cousins. Do you have a picture with you in it?
