From a men's camel hair sport coat..

I have never seen it before? I was thinking the coat was late 70's or 80's....

Yes! As a matter of fact, I have seen that before.

But ask me what it means, and I cannot tell you. I just don't know.
I will have to think a minute on what I saw it on/context...

I have this on the member board also and Kat thought maybe it was for Stratford??

I have never heard of Stratford, only Stafford, but i don't doubt its existence!

Your label is the house label of a modern discount retailer named Sy Syms,who has stores in several Florida cities.
Store name is SYMS. Syms buys famous name brands without label and re-brands them with its repeating S's house label.
Look elsewhere on the clothing and you may learn who actually made the item.I have had many Syms branded clothes and rarely found out who made them.
