Anyone recognise this scarf print or manufacturer?

It has a machine stitched hem and just a few white threads remaining of the original label :(, which was sewn into the hem. It's large (forgot to measure, maybe 85cm square?) and not the lightest weight but floats well. I thought the printing on it was really good, no idea if this is a good scarf or just another Tie Rack reproduction though...

Melanie,

Did you see THIS? Or THIS? I couldn't find the directions for unlinking...and I can't get that second link to work, even though I am copying it correctly. Just Google the words scarf clocks fans and it should come up as Trussardi or something.

Or THIS, which has nothing to do with your scarf, but which I found while searching for your scarf...and read this with amused amazement. My cats would LOVE this.

Lol Lynne I must forward that knitting clock to my manager at the Haberdashery - it's a shame it doesn't go faster - we could just have it knitting samples in the shop all day :D
I didn't find either of the scarves you show, despite searching the same thing! google was giving me totally unrelated results so I gave up in irritation. I do wonder at the etsy listing of a scarf as 1970s labelled Made in Taiwan though... it's quite possible thats what my label was, and someone wanted to remove the cheap reminder! :)

Melanie, scarf labels are often removed because depending on how you wear it, it might show. I must confess to removing them myself, but only on modern ones. One of the scarves I bought during my recent trip to Portobello Road has an old fashioned name tag hand stitched on one end - it reads "Furniss" in an Art Deco font. The scarf has roses and looks like it's '50s. I often wear it to deliberately show the tag that Miss or Mrs Furniss sewed on.

I love the knitting clock! Might have to share that on FB because I know some knitters who will love it. I'm sure it can knit faster but it's an art piece, to measure the passing of time. It would be great to knit stockings (if your legs were a similar diameter all the way up).
