I especially love the Girl Scout apron. But, it kind of saddened me to see to what extent little girls were unwittingly programmed to aspire to be homemakers.

Me too - great fun. In my town we started something called the Cabot Apple Pie Festival and years ago I decorated the main room with borrowed vintage aprons. It looked great.
