Aquascutum Tweed Overcoat....dating? Typing the Tweed?

1960s? Or classic coat of any era?
Is this what 'they' term Popcorn Tweed?

I don't see any reference to popcorn tweed (I would expect a surface bobble with that name - it looks pretty even from here)
 
I also would call it a Glen Plaid. It is a bit brighter and has more color and texture than earlier ones, but is consistent with the 60's.

That's a Prince of Wales check tweed. I think it's more likely to be '70s than '60s.

Update: I just googled Glen Plaid and it's very similar. Hard to tell from the pics which one it is, but my thought is that it could be either.

Very cool. Just looked up Prince of Wales check and it is a.k.a Glen plaid or Glen Urquhart plaid.
 
In looking up "Glen" plaid, seems we might also term it "PeeWee Plaid"....thanks again to you all. Probably best to use both terms in my keywords and title.
