Great rayon knit fabric - the rings are hard plastic covered with crochet.

As usual I'm having trouble coming up with a title that'll help prevent this from getting lost in the shuffle. Any ideas?

And just out of curiosity - found this printed on the lining (the dress is unlabeled) - what is this? I've seen zipper tapes with text woven in, but never anything like this -

TIA :)

What a unique dress - i must say I have never seen anything quite like it.
I do not know a "Proper term" for that treatment...but it might just be so unique there isn't one.

Is that aqua my monitor is detecting?

I agree with Chris-- I don't think it matters if "Mod" is "in"... this dress will totally stand alone.
What a stunner....

kristine...

i was born Mod...lol.....

people who are into Mod don't care if it is in or not : )

and people who like 40s fitted suits don't care if they are in or not either : )

guess that makes me either always in style or always an anachronism whatever the current trend may be.

: )

Sorry to just be getting back here :) Thanks for your comments!

Chris - yes, it's as aqua as aqua can be!

I agree, that's a GREAT dress! Aqua is definitely a selling point :D

I am having keyword constipation today, so I'm no help there, but I love it!

Nice color and nice dress Carolyn!

Trendfully (like my new word?) speaking, the Mod craze is over, but clean lines and classic looks are always in style. This one definitely has a mod flavor to it, but the sweater-like knit doesn't really scream "mod" to me. It's kind of an elegant, classier and more wearable version of mod I think.
