Are these Ricky jackets?

I have two of these funky, light weight gab jackets. They are late 40's early 50's mens jackets with shoulder pads, long front flange pleats and a very boxy cut.

Are these Ricky jackets? Or is there another proper name for them? Thanks!! Also, any suggestions for some great keywords to get the lookers? Thanks!!

I always think of "Ricky" jackets as meaning "would Ricky Ricardo wear this". But if it has nothing to do with what a Ricky jacket is, someone please get me with the program....
