Assistance in finding designer

Hello, i was hoping someone could help in dating a dress. I have a beautiful liquid satin cocktail dress that to me looks and every feature says is approximately 1940's. But I can't find the label/maker anywhere. Could anyone help in dating, or even better know about the maker?
The last photo is one very similar(it's an O'Hara) but mine is mid calf length. Dress is by Tuney Otani, Chicago.

I suppose you did already find the info on her relocation to a Japanese internment camp during WW2? (Easily googled.) This page lists her California birth year as 1922 and her "potential occupation" as skilled dressmaker and seamstress. This page appears to show her marriage to Stephen Aki T.T. Terumoto in Cook, Illinois. I can't see the year since I don't have an ancestry dot com subscription. Can't find anything else.
