Australian Swim Fashion Week -vintage inspired?

I wanted to look at runway photos for this event, as one of the designers (a former swimsuit model) said her collection was based on 50s and 60s beach trends. To my eye they remind me more of vintage suits worn by litle girls, stretched to fit adults.

I did like the thai dye feel of the prints from Colin Heaney.

omg i LOVE them ALL except that HORRIBLE black elasticized BAG!! uck!!

Cute, not a big fan of the white eyelet but the lines are nice. Who is the designer Amanda?

The gingham and polka dot ones are adorable...
that black one is just hideous!

The designer of those first bathing suits was Karen Nellsen. (It's also spelled 'Neilsen'). I put in that black piece because it was so.... what was she thinking....
