Authentic snakeskin? Do you recognize this label?

I recently came across this vintage handbag on a chain. The snakeskin feels real to me but I have actually never felt a real snakeskin purse but have had snakes in the past. I want to resell this bag but I don’t want to mislabel it. The inside is in great condition but I absolutely cannot make out the inside label. I’m guessing wildly it starts with an M followed by A or O then ends in GOLD??
I would appreciate all the help!
