b&m stores lists - UK and US?

:hiya: all!

having failed to list on ebay for a good while and therefore having nothing to tie me to the 'puter, so i've booked a last minute holiday to whitby on the n. yorkshire coast for a week as of saturday. (oh, the glamour!)

so, being me, i have already googled for vintage shops to visit while i'm away but was wondering if any one has any more recommendations for n. yorks? i just can't take a full break from it!

on the same note does anyone know of a list of brick and mortar vintage clothing sellers in the uk? wasn't anne working on one?
i started trying to compile one in word but gave up rather quicky in favour of cups of tea and darning!

so anyway, didn't know if there was a thread or spot were we could list any b&m stores we come across (without endorsing them or anything), for both sides of the pond. not sure how you'd organise it - by region? anyway, i know there was a thread for trade vfg members with physical storefronts to add their locations but i can't find it... :BAGUSE:

if that's a bad idea no problem, it was just a thought. ;)

Sure Harriet.

We do have some trade members that in fact have physical shops, and i was going to start a forum/area especially for that, but i have just the place for starting a list like that...

Go to the "Information Exchange" Forum on this board and start a new thread for folks to make a list.

Just state that the list is for information purposes only and does not indicate endorsement. (and then i will thread later especially for those shops that are indeed member shops)

Have fun

Or if you prefer, you can use this thread and i can move it over there

Chris

Oh, i know, we can start one for different countries/areas if you like
