Babs' Winnetka Purse - need info on label and date

I know this purse is vintage b/c of the way the label looks. There is only one other babs' purse that i could find online. may be canandian? Made of grosgrain ribbon and velvet. If anyone has any info on the brand and could help with the era - that would be great!!!

I cannot see your label very well but it appears to say "Winnetka" which is north of Chicago in Illinois. I believe it is a fairly upper class area if memory serves correctly ( I could be wrong). I am guessing Babs' to be a local boutique of some sort. I am not getting a real vintage vibe from that label but I am sure others who are more qualified will chime in.

I know! I misspelled Winnetka. Do you know if I can edit that? I cannot figure out how.
The other purse just like this one online says vintage...but who knows.

I have found about 4 of them online..."babs winnetka" with the quotes...maybe 80s
