Back from the US

I'm back from my US-trip since Saturday ... with a full suitcase and an empty account . Anyway, thanks again for all your ideas. I couldn't manage to do everything, but I got to see what I wanted to see and did some really good shopping too - some vintage stuff as well, and some dolls in gorgeous vintage-inspired outfits. Photos will come as soon as I can get to put some order into things... still haven't unpacked quite everything, I first had to sleep out that jet-lag. 24 hours with no sleep - ugh! :asleep:

Jonathan, the Blue Avenue Gene was a center piece doll that was being raffled off - but I did not win her... I was a bit sad about that, but I won the next evening's center piece, which I actually liked even better - Love, Madra.

You know, the moment I saw her, I thought of the "Paris Couture" chapter in your 40s fashion book, and it turns out her outfit was made after an illustration from L'Officiel de la Couture from that time.

What can I say - I adore her and was ever so happy to have won her.
