Last ones - these are so cool, but I'm not even sure if they're vintage, I've never seen anything like them , they're kind of satiny...

I'll take a stab!

The black boots are late 1960s crinkle vinyl type. I had these in white in 1968 and considered myself very stylish.

The black and tan are English riding style boots if not actual riding boots. I think with the tan top they are hacking boots? not formal dressage boots.

The Snowbelles- 1950s winter boots.

The last two - more 80s/90s. I had that type wedge heel in the early 1990s, I think.

slippers are Daniel Greens, font on the insole indicates 60s...its a style they made for several years, but the logo changed from a scroll of paper w/ the name to a cursive script logo in the 60s.

I would go a little closer to 1970 on the first pair because of the splayed heel.

I recall English style riding boots were popular l988-1993ish along with all those other Edwardian revival style shoes.

Snowbelles by Kaufman, Kaufman was out of Kitchener Ontario - the factory is now being converted into lofts...

The Snowbells are from the 50's??!! Then they are in STELLAR condition! Wow, cool!

And those ones with the flowers are SLIPPERS?? For real?? That's awesome!!

I swear I leave more real vintage shoes and buy more 90's stuff :duh2: but now I'm taking a break and I know so much more for next time!

Those black wedges have me confused though b/c they totally looked early 90's to me too, but they're super tiny, they're my size and they're about a size too small - I love how the brand name is "made in Brazil" how cheezy hey lol...

Kaufman made Sorel's too didn't they? I found an add online for Kaufman Sorels from the 50's, but I couldn't find anything about the Snowbelles, they're sexy little winter boots!! Too bad about the factory shutting down, but very cool they're making it into lofts!

Thanks again you guys!! I had no idea those flower guys were slippers, or the Kaufman's were that old!! And I totally thought the first pair was another 90's one tricking me lol - it's like I do better when I don't try you know, I find better vintage stuff when I just go "oh that's cool..." anyways :cheer: Cool! :)

Your riding boots are "real" riding boots, and are foxhunting, or "hunt-top" boots. Although styles in riding boots are pretty static, I'm guessing these are 70s. Although the soles are throwing me off a bit, as they look newer. Could these be replacement soles? Is there a brand name on the boots?

(BTW, love those first boots--they were popular when I was in high school and looked darling with mini skirts & dresses.)

Oh I think they have been! I noticed a few of mine have either the soles replaced or have some added for traction, I hadn't even noticed, but there is a ridge around the whole sole - I was wondering b/c the boots show wear, like the leather is noticably worn, not bad shape, but worn - and the soles not much at all except that you can tell the person walked back on they're heels - here's a pic of the soles

Thanks for your help!

besides the labels, Daniel Greens are sometimes hard to date. There are some older ones that are easier, but they tended to keep styles around longer later. I guess that there was a generation who wore slippers and bedroom shoes like that, but of course we are so casual now its luck to find someone wearing something more than bare feet or socks in their rove.

Daniel Greens - some of the other ones make me think I should be wearing a turban and a dressing robe lol.

Oh my, those Snowbelles are SO gorgeous!

The riding boots are pretty cool too - timeless!

And those slippers *sigh*! They definitely should be worn with a turban and a dressing robe - I totally see the picture before my inner eye! My best friend would totally love these too...

That's so funny, I had no idea what a hot ticket those slippers (which I didn't even know they were lol) were! - The snowbells are TDF hey, I still can't let them go, they almost fit...that counts right?? lol
