some dating help please!!!

the first is a rochas bag....is it lucite? it has rochas-paris stamped in gold lettering inside and the strap is a silk braided cord...and ideas on dating??? love this bag!!!

the second is a navy snakeskin dior!! i am a bit worried as there is no tag inside although i think its too well-made to be fake- what do you think? how can i tell what type of skin this is? i think snake but was told lizard by the seller.....any ideas on date?

the third is another snakeskin but what type? i think python....any ideas on date?? the side of the clasp says "patent Lolise".....other than that there are no tags,etc..

hi,

the first one is a celluloid, a plastic , late 70's early 80's

2nd is snakeskin...if the individual cells appear a tad dry and could lift then its snake if there is no separation at all fromt he underneath and each cell is seled in, as in leather then it lizard...but looks like snake to me, same date as first..looks like snake to me from here.

3rd is python and is a tad earlier early 70's

Is that last what they call "reticulated" python?

Sara's the expert on bags, and I agree with her dating! The Dior looks like snakeskin, from what I can tell by the photos. And normally fakes aren't made from high-quality materials, so I'm thinking this might be genuine, but I really don't know. If Dior is one of the design houses that has signature linings, that can be a clue.

anne, the lining is quite soft and its beige but i dont know the name of the fabric.....
 
l use celluloid asa generic term, as it covers a mass of differnet plastics and is sed a lot on ebay to tell a buyer its plastic but unknown orgin. w ehave bakelte, celluloid, then lucite,
