Am I the only one that sees a Balenciaga inspiration here?
It was the first thing I thought of when I saw this dress and I believe originally this was a long dress... Quite hard to tell though..
Heavy silk satin in the deepest midnight blue possible.
Thought I would just share...

Beautiful dress Michelle - but no idea what/who inspired it, Balenciaga or whatever! Sorry.
LOVE the bodice treatment!

My initial reaction is that the skirt doesn't seem right, I'd have thought it would be fuller and longer 0 but don;t quote me on that! ;-)
