Banderin ?

A friend gave me a huge box filled with odd 1960's lingerie. I have a Banderin by Sculptress. I am trying very hard to decide what it does. It appears to need an extra piece. Would it possibly be one of those contraptions found in old magazines that hold the bosoms up ? The peekaboo type ?

I sold one and I figured out how to put it on the manni but the second time around that I purchased some, I could not remember for the life of me!! There is a band in the front that pushes your boobs up and out for a nice lift.
 
Thanks bonton. I can't decide whether to toss it out, or give to a collector of odd contraptions. It's one of those uplifters. I love getting boxes full of stuff from back then. :embaressed:
