Barbie

Thank you, Claire! Not quite the prices that were bandied about when the Barbie collecting craze hit first, but that was just pre-internet and certainly pre-Ebay!
I got my own Titian Bubblecut for somewhat less on Etsy - a lucky find thanks to the seller's misspelling of the world "titian". I was looking for something else, but found her. And I am a huge fan of the 1600-number outfits, they really are some of the best in vintage Barbie outfits out there - though I still don't own an American Girl Barbie :hysterical:. But my Midge doll in my avatar is wearing one of those 1600s outfits - the sweater is made of the same kind of fabric as the pink one in the article. And I do have the complete Pretty as a Picture outfit!

THIS though has always been my 1600s favourite - Lunch on the Terrace! I'd wear that myself in a heartbeat...
