Barkcloth or Sailcloth?

I just read an article printed in 1952 about the company that printed the Grandma Moses fabric that I always assumed was barkcloth. They said they used that and sail cloth... Here's a close-up of a Grandma Moses pillow sham I was going to offer as vintage barkcloth. Correct?

Looks like barkcloth to me. The weave appears thick, nubby and slightly textured. Barkcloth is usually very soft to the touch so I'm sure you're right on this. :)

Hello!

I'm hoping someone can point me toward the 1952 Riverdale article by that OP referenced. I've just acquired some Grandma Moses curtain panels of both barkcloth and sailcloth. I've googled but can't seem to find the article.

Thanks so much!
