Bathing Suit 40s or 50s?

Is this bathing suit 40s or 50s? It is not boned, it has ruching and smocking.
 
I would have said late 50's to early 60's. It may not be boned but it is fitted in the front and you see that ruched top on party dresses from this period.
 
Super cute! I'll go with '50s and correct your smocking with shirring. You're right about the ruched bust though, you could almost call it a shelf bust. I love it and would have killed to have had that when I was 22.
 
I was looking at the difference between smocking and shirring, smocking looks more decorative.
