Been away, here\'s what I came home to...

Last week was BF's big show in Manchester, NH. Here's a quick pic of how the booth looked preshow.

When I came home I found half a tree on the ground in the back yard and this poor pitiful looking pup.

Somehow he was on the loosing end of a fight with BF's dog. Don't know what happened but he now has a drain in his neck and the very attractive collar. He's milking it too!

Never a dull moment!

Poor doggie.

There is quite possibly nothing funnier then dogs and cats in one of those collars to me.....

I think it is the ultimate in animal degrdation to wear those cones. But cats take it worse.... My cat was like houdini.... My dog just accepts it.

At least they could make the cone smell llike cookies or something.

We're going to yhe vet tomorrow morning for follow up.

The Millinery sign came home with us. It came close to selling a couple times but it's so darn big that no one could figure out a way to get it home.

I can't keep it because it's not mine. If the house sells and I'm in someplace where I have a space for it I'll buy it for sure, until then it's fair game!

Great looking booth!

Great looking dog too, but the collar? hahahaha!

(I can laugh cause Finley has had to wear one of those
lampshades 3 times now)

Wow, neat stuff! Good thing he didn't have one that said anything about trains, or train stations, or cabooses....Alex just saw it! (train nut)

Poor pup. Might be worth a trip to the butcher's for a soup bone for the poor baby to chew on, but then I tend to medicate with food. Hmm.

Thanks you guys. The show was good. We came home without the cupboard, table, hanging cupboard, several of the signs and a bunch of other small stuff. All in all, no complaints there.

Unfortunately, Murphy's law seemed to be following us last week. Just before loading and leaving for the show Danny hurt his knee. It was iffy the weekend before but he finally listened to DR. Candy and between ice and wearing a brace to keep from hurting it worse he limped through set up. But, the morning the show opened his tooth started bothering him. He ignored it for a couple days but by Saturday he was in major pain and called the dentist. The dentist called in antibiotic and pain prescriptions for us to pick up on the way home but by the time we reached the pharmacy they had closed so the dentist called in a prescription to a second pharmacy. It only took us until 9 pm to get home when we should have been there by 7.

I almost came out relatively unscathed but managed to drop a chest of drawers on the top of my foot on load out. Had to stop at Dunkin Donuts for a cup of ice which I loaded into the sleeve of a jacket to use as an ice pack all the way home. It's fine now too just a bit bruised.

Just one of those weeks I guess. This week has to be better than last!
