Bemberg Rayon lingerie

Hi - I need some help/advice on selling an nightgown that I obtained that came with a Bember Rayon paper "hang tag", which has a tab and is removable. There are no other labels on the gown. It appears to be a 40s bias cut sheer gown. Advice wanted on ability to list it as a Bemberg gown without a sewn in label and what a reasonable price/value is for the mint condition nightgown? Should all Bemberg gowns have a sewn in label?
Thank you.

Bemberg gown continued..

Thank you! I believe the hang tag is original, but you never know if an unscrupulous person attached it. These nightgowns seems to sell for hundreds of dollars and I am uncertain if I can ask that without a sewn in label. Any additional thoughts?

Bemberg is a type of rayon fabric - and even though it's brand new, what it's worth will depend on the style. It's not uncommon for 1940s garments to not have labels, and if it's sheer and bias cut it may be a bit earlier - do you have any photos of the garment?

Bemberg continued

Yes I do have some photos and have been trying to attach here, but without much luck. Let me try again. I know a little about Bemberg rayon from research but unsure on the pricing of this item.

I've got the same nightgown in peach silk satin - it's featured in my book Love Vintage and I dated it to the late '30s-early '40s. Mine isn't sheer like yours, so yours is sexier :)

From memory, I paid about $90 AUD for mine.
