Hi!!

I’m trying to find more information on this suit I’m going to sell. I have searched and searched and brought up precious little. I know the Linzi Lesur fabric is French and Ben Wolfman had a dept store in TX and later sold the building to Newman Marcus, I think. Has anyone come across these names/know anything else?

Thanks for all responses!

Rebecca

Ben Wolfman started out in 1918 with a women's and children's apparel store. Neiman Marcus merged with Ben Wolfman in June 1955 which by then was a women's specialty store. It had different concessions. I see many ads in Vogue throughout the years for garments being sold at Ben Wolfman starting as early as 1936 and until April 1955 right before the merger. Wolfman and his son Lee continued to operate the Houston store after the merger as merchandising executives. Mr. Wolfman became a vice president and director at Neiman Marcus
