BENETTON PRINT QUERY

Hi there. I wondered if anyone would have some information on a pair of amazing culottes I found. Vintage Benetton. The print depicts a scene of people, transportation and hats and I thought I’d ask if anyone may be able to shed some light on it. It’s amazing and I can’t find anything on the internet. I think judging by the label it is early Benetton. Possibly 70s. I’ve added some pictures. Thank you so much in advance.

Thank you so much. I thought possibly 80s although the label was slightly different. I’m desperate to find out about the provenance of the print if any. Searched everywhere online.

Thank you so much. Sorry I am new to this. I’m not sure what Selvedge is??
The edge of fabric in a roll is called the selvedge. In a print there's usually half an inch or so of mostly unprinted edge, and sometimes you find text there, telling you about the print, eg a copy right notice, country of origin, designer, sometimes even the print name. Occasionally you find selvedge in the seams of a garment, but often not. So it's just worth a hunt through the seams and hems to see if you can find a clue.

Here's an example of print information on a selvedge
