Bernat Klein

Hi, I recently came across this skirt in a charity shop as I loved the pattern. But since researching it I’m discovering it was designed by Bernat Klein. I was wondering if anyone could tell some more about this skirt or perhaps date it if possible as I’m struggling on my own. Any help would be grateful appreciated.

We have several Bernat Klein pieces in the collection - its really about the textile more than the style - his clothes were very classic standard pieces. There is an interesting book written by his daughter about her father, who was a bit of a stickler for precision and perfection - not an easy upbringing. Anyway, the colour way and the font style on the label, and the pattern all suggest a mid-late 70s date to me, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was even from the 80s.
