Best & Co. New York Coat - Era?

Hello all! New to the forums - I've been browsing and am excited by all the information here!

I bought this coat recently from an elderly man who was selling his wife's clothing. When I picked this up I was thinking it must be new because it has a modern style to it. However, when I research the label it turns out that they haven't been around since the 70's, as far as I can tell? I did read that someone opened up a best & co in NY in 2000ish, but it was childrens clothing.

Any help dating this would be great. Thanks!! ;)

The label looks newer than 70s to me. The Best & Co Label looks more 90s to me.

If Best & Co closed in '71, it would either be made before then or after '98 when the label re-opened, right?

Can you post a close-up of the label?? Is there a Union Tag??

Hmm no union tag that I can see anywhere. I did read over the info on best & co. where it says there was a store in ny in 2000, but it says it was children's clothing only. So? Hm. I dunno? It does have a very new look though!
