Best patio dress ever! (Well, for me....) 30s?

Had to bring the car in this morning and dropped in on a few places on my return and I'm so glad I did - got several goodies, but this is my fav.

Please excuse the prelim photos. It's rayon with satin and lace trim, has the smocked elastic waistband with a matching sash with long ribbon that I've tied in the back. The bottom is scalloped and the front and back are shorter than sides (kinda like scallop on scallop). 30s, yes?

And any key word help would be most appreciated too as I plan to list early next week.

THANKS!!!

Deb, that is beautiful!!

So feminine and floaty.......very cool find!

30s sounds good, but I'm also wondering about 40s.
Curious to see what everyone else says.

Hi Deb,

I think this one is from the 70s...this 30s revival look did happen then as well. There was a popular company from France Cacharel that did a lot of this kind of dress, they used to have a shop in Westmount Square. Although, I don't think this one is actually a Cacharel, I don't think they would have used that sort of pink lace over the sleeve.

Thanks, ladies!

I found it beside a 70s Gunne Sax granny dress; so you may be right, MJ. I remember Cacharel (and I have a few items by them). Certainly wish there was a label on this one. The construction has me baffled - it's done the ol' fashioned way and the material is like a 40s dressing gown I have up now. Here are a few more closeups, if that helps confirm. And if you need a pic of anything else let me know.

Good catch on the lace Mary Jane! Deb, that is definitely more current lace 60s/70s/modern.
