Betty Lane?? Please help!

Hey everyone! I'm new to the forums and am so ecstatic to have found them! :P

ANYWAY, my question is this: I found this wonderful yellow dress with a "Betty Lane Original" tag and cannot find any info on her!! Does anyone have information on this designer or her clothing. I founda painter by that name though she had nothing to do with fashion. I WAS able to locate a few dresses by Betty Lane (including in these forums!) that dated from the late 50s to the 60s.

I would really love to date this dress and get more info on Betty Lane. What do you all know?

I found a few small references to Betty Lane, but not much about the company, I am afraid.

The earliest thing I found was a 1959 ad (below) for a Betty Lane dress, then a 1962 ad (also below). They are both obviously sub-teen items.

The next two ads (below) are 1970 and 1971 and seem to be for young women (junior sizes?).

Of note is the fact that the ads were from nearby states: MD, VA, WV.

The last thing I found was a 1967 reference to a buyer from Betty Lane Fashion's (sic) in New York. The page was filled with names and addresses of buyers in town for whatever the buyer event was. "Birmingham" is apparently from where that buyer or that firm was, but it didn't say in what state that Birmingham was.
