Betty Wales 1920s Dress

I have a Betty Wales 1920's dress for sale on eBay right now. I had a lot of fun researching this label, and thought the manufacturer was quite clever. They based their dress line on the college aged heroine of a popular series of books, and every dress sold came with a voucher the customer could redeem to receive a complimentary Betty Wales story. By redeeming the voucher, the customer was also asked to provide the names and addresses of five of her girlfriends. I think it's neat, and maybe the VFG would like the label for the label resource??

I had seen Betty Wales dresses pictured in some of my old magazines, but I have never seen the label, which is so great to finally see. That is a charming dress you have.

Wow - this is such a beautiful dress, and such a wearable style... if only it were a bit wider in the hips, I'd be hard tempted to bid too! The marketing idea around Betty Wales is pure genius.
