Beware the vistaprint scam..

l bought my third lot of biz cards from vistaprint in December...the first two orders were for their FREE offers, whereby one only pays the PP costs, seemingly!

This third lot incorporated my new images from my recent london photoshoot..l was very pleased with them, front colour and glossy, image on rear side in blk and white....

BUT BEWARE>>>they have debited my account in Jan and Feb for 9.95£uk for a CLUB PREM.vistaprint uk...

and as they wont answer the phone, nor reply to emails...to stop this debit THEY have set up....l called visa, they can only stop them when l send a copy of email, well email is ont her server electronically, so not easy to copy their form in a print out.

l am waiting a reply and have found plenty of results for vistaprint scam online..

so l forwarded this 'scam' to BBC's watchdog prog...

nb... l hung on the phone today after making my post for 40mins, l eventually got through and told the woman, l was recording this call for 'my' purposes....vistaprint now say they wil refund my card, within two billing cycles, and my mebership cancelled......and yes they still have it on file..funny that eh

...and told me that l must have clicked on a link entitled..'would you like to recieve future savings from vistaprint on future orders'? a $10 saving for £10 a month..that doesnt make any sense...
all future orders will not be affected..apparently..so TREAD VERY CAREFULLY...l love my biz cards..but hell it could cost ya!!

There is something at the end of your order where they offer different savings? or offers, and I am always careful not to choose those.

I do like Vista Print but after my last order in December, we started getting all sorts of calls at the office (the number I have listed with them) trying to sell things, mainly people supposedly calling from Quill, an office supply place. Well, we use Quill and place an order every December before tax season begins. However, the people who were calling were unaware of our orders. It was very strange.

The same thing happened to me in January. I called them, told them I had not requested anything that entailed a monthly fee of $14.95. They said they would cancel it and refund me. I forgot about it until February when they again debited my account. This time I just submitted a chargeback request to PayPal. I won't call VistaPrint again just to be told a big fat lie. Let's see what PayPal will do about it.

Well I THOUGHT I'd responded -- I'm having some internet glitches today!

I had this happen, too. I'd clicked on some offer at the end of an order and happened to catch the small print JUST after I'd clicked "ok" or whatever it said.
By the time you get to that screen, you've already clicked through SO many screens that it becomes kind of a blur!
I called the number on the next screen and they canceled it that day - no problem.
I figured it was my own fault for not READING what I was agreeing to! :BAGUSE:

Otherwise, I've had no problems with Vista Print! I've been very happy with the value I've gotten from them. I have postcards & business cards galore... and I've even had brochures made for my estate sale business - they look great and I paid virtually nothing for them.

I've never used Vista, but if you want stellar cards at a great price, www.overnightprints.com did a wonderful job at an excellent price for several batches I've gotten. Of course my designs were superb :P and printed to the letter.

It's not free, but doggon cheep for full color 2 sided and worth every penny.
