Bill Blass Dress - vintage or modern?

Hi! I just got this beautiful Bill Blass dress.

I checked out the label resource and found some simlar to, but not exactly like, my label.

I think it's a modern (90s) dress, but my mother has an Yves Saint Laurent dress that's similar to it from the 80s.

Any ideas? I love it and wish I could wear it -- I'd keep it!

Delores, can you lighten the picture up a bit so we can see its detail? Black is hard to shoot and it's hard to see anything but its basic profile, which doesn't tell us much.

I'm no expert but it looks more modern to me - but please don't take my word, others know way more more than I do - as for the black photos the best I think is to model them, outside in sunlight - that seems to work best - either on a model or a mani if you have one.
