I have a vintage blue cocktail dress with the label Binnie LOndon in it it looks about late 50's early 60's to me but i have looked on line for this designer and all i have found are a couple of sites selling binnie london dresses, but no info on the actual label, designer or era. does anyone know anything about this design label

Hi I have posted photo's as requested unfotunately the resolution is'nt great and it is'nt a hat but maybe this will help identify Binnie of London, very curious please help if you can

I do apologize, I had hat in my mind from another request. Your dress looks like a 60s sheath dress to me from this photo.
Perhaps one of our UK members will recognize the label. It's very striking with the overall large dot pattern which appear
to be either a brocade or metallic.
 
its metalic thread with some of the dots a bright turquoise blue and the background slightly darker with metalic thread running through it. Thankyou for your help its frustrating when you can tell something is vintage, but cant find out about it. so thankyou once again. i have also put a post on about a jean varden, would you be able to give advise on this.

thank you hopefully some one will recognise it as i have said i have seen one or two Binnie Londons on ebay but no info there really. The styles i saw were probably a bit latter as well more seventees i think.
with paisley patterns. Again marvelous find in a local charity shop.
