Black grosgrain box clutch bag with gold frame

I think this style could span a few decades but I'm hoping somebody can recognise the more unusual covered clasp, the outside fabric is all grosgrain and the lining is like 80's evening dress material that reflects in river s shape patterns when you turn it one way. No labels, any ideas of date?

I am getting a 50s feel from this one. The lining is a moiré fabric, most likely an acetate.

I wasn't saying I thought it was 80's but that I'd seen the lining material made up in 80's prom dresses. This being the only reference point I could see!
I did think it had a hint a 50's about it but wondered at the condition, I'd kind of expect the metal frame to be a bit more battered or tarnished...it only has one spot, visible on the picture above.
I've since found another bag dated in the 50's in the same materials (black grosgrain fabric and gold metal, with covered clasp) but a different shape. Though of course they could be wrong and I couldn't base it on this.
