Black Lace Handkerchief Hem Dress... Yes or No?

I've listed some of what I felt were great dresses lately, but obviously I was the only one who thought so. :)
I think this might by my last try....
This should be popular for the hankie hem style yes...?

Fredericks of Hollywood, papery tag (probably 80's with that dropped waist and shirred boned bodice?)

Double layered lace skirt with lining under that.
Gloves are called guantlets?
It was never worn.

have you a picture of how the dress would look falling naturally... that usually shows of handkerchief points off best.

I do have a couple (not great however :(.

The wind was blowing a gale when I took these, so unless the mannequin held the sides it blew off to the side.

Oh my, and the gloves, too. You should do very well with this.

By all means, show one with it hanging down naturally. (Sorry, making extra work for you, aren't I?)

I even see a little Stevie Nick gypsy witch thang going on there!

Might be an idea to do a shot without the gloves, too - they are a little "over powering", if you see what I mean??

leisa  it!

I see Stevie Nicks at the Disco, actually. I would've KILLED for that dress in the late 70's. It's awesome!

Anyway - I really think it's more 70's than 80's. Fredericks did boning & push-up, curve-enhancing painful stuff with their clothes before then.

What I really love about it is the Goth meets Disco feel. I think it'll appeal to a lot of buyers & if I were still a chick singer, I'd want it yesterday!

Definitely try to show the natural hemline & I agree w/margaret about a shot sans gloves.

Is there still time to get this up for PROM? I think you'll do really well with it.

good luck!

definitely show off that hemline. also pop "assymetrical tiered..." in there as well as hankie hem, though hankie is the bigger draw.

I think that if you show it with gloves for your initial grab me shot, they will be intrigued to look further.

If it doesn't go for prom, it will go for halloween masquers ball

Maybe it's just me, but I don't see any disco influence at all. Not California discos anyway...

Thank you to everyone!
I missed a couple of the last posts.
I read the others but got waylaid before I could respond (it's been a crazy week).
I used a little of everyone's suggestions. :)
I already had it listed so wasn't able to reshoot without gloves :(
Thanks again all!
