Black Sequin Evening Gown

I am pretty sure this gown that I have is 1940s or 50s but I would love help in narrowing it down a bit more. Originally I thought it was 60s but then I discovered the hidden zipper on the side and it looks like a pretty old Talon one. Everything is very nicely made but there is no label -- was it common to have non-labeled formal ware in those eras? Thanks in advance for any feedback!

It looks as though it either has a dropped waist, or the lace is giving that impression, that would lead me to think it was from the mid 1950's to early 60's.

Well according to me it's 50's because of its lace over the neck portion, which is beautiful.................
