Black velvet Elmoor dres- 1940s-50s?

Hi guys,

Here's my gorgeous new vintage aquisition, in beautiful black velvet dress from Elmoor- anyone have any info on the label? I can't find much online, a few 60s pieces and a sweet advert from the mid 50s..

Sorry for the unclear pics, the black was very hard to capture! Back metal zip, taffeta feel waist detail with lovely large central bow and back buttons. Rouche detail to the sleeves, not quite a full skirt;

Ava, no help with Elmoor label, just want to say, how romantic it is, your lovely dress.
Someone will know though, I'm sure.

I had a late '50s skirt suit with that label: quite a nice one, if you scroll down my webshop you'll see it as I'm still using it for the "suits and sets" department image. Burgundy trimmed in black velvet.
