Hello could anyone help me date this piece?
It has a metal zip, the skirt is very thick padding.
It says size 18 but is about a 12.

Hi Cloweka, we have that label in the resource, as appearing on a late '50s-early '60s dress. I would date your dress as early '60s and suggest it originally had a matching, perhaps quilted, jacket.

It would be a good label to add to the resource, as that splash of red makes it a tiny bit different from the one I supplied.
