Blouse or blouse/jacket on this early 60s number?

Isn't this pretty? There's a bit of a haze on the flowers. This is made from a substantial medium weight cotton and there is a button right at the bottom. Would this have been worn solely as a blouse back in the day?

Thats a great print. I have a couple sets with cigarette pants with jackets shaped like that....it would be fabulous with matching pants!

I would have thought it was a top - worn with capris or some kind of slim pant and flat shoes, but dressy - perfect for lunch on the patio with the 'girls' - not dressy enough for downtown, but good for going grocery shopping or maybe that new indoor mall they just built...

Probably worn in combination with slim pants - that's what I thought of instantly too.

Wow--I love the way that terrific print is focused on the front, then sprinkled over the sleeves/shoulders and back...

Same strategy as with the beaded designs on sweaters of that period...
